Transportation Routes for Games Related Personnel and Spectators

There will be two routes for the Tokyo 2020 Games: one for transporting Games related personnel including athletes (“Transportation Routes for Games Related Personnel”), and another for transporting spectators and Games staff (“Transportation Routes for Spectators”).


The “
Transportation Routes for Games Related Personnel
” include the “
Games Routes
,” which connect accommodation facilities with airports, competition venues, IBC/MPC, etc.; the “
Training Venue Routes
,” which is used to transport athletes to training venues; and the “
Alternative Routes
,” which are used when the Games Routes cannot be used due to accidents, traffic jams, etc.


The “
Transportation Routes for Spectators
” are the routes used by spectators and officials to travel between the competition venues and the stations that spectators are expected to use during the Games.
